On Thursday, September 14, the thirtieth meeting of the Traffic Incident Management (TIM) team was held at the Puerto Rico Highway and Transportation Authority (PRHTA) Traffic Management Center. This meeting was part of the series of quarterly meetings held by PRHTA with different agencies that respond to traffic incidents with the purpose of improving coordination and communication in incident management. Staff from the transportation department, emergency medical services, highways, Metropistas, the municipality of Guaynabo and Carolina, among others, were present to discuss topics such as hurricane prepare, recent incidents and ideas on how to improve processes.
